AMD is set to unleash super-thin laptop which means real competition on Intel-based Ultrabooks, with purportedly to have enormous battery life and superior graphics performance. The 18mm-thin reference machine, which AMD demonstrated at its current financial forecast day, was manufactured by Compal and illustrates AMD’s latest Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), dubbed Trinity, which will be available later this year.
